“I grew up surrounded by strong women who inspired me and awakened my desire to work in fashion. Both my mother and my two grandmothers were always involved in handicrafts. It was with them that I had my first contact with embroidery, crochet, cutting and sewing when I was very young.”
When, in mid-2014, Verenice Pacheco decided to leave her career in law to dive headfirst into the world of fashion, she was only sure of one thing: the name of the brand would be JOANNE , a tribute to her beloved paternal grandmother, a sweet, resilient and determined woman who always encouraged her to pursue her dreams.
JOANNE was created to meet the desires of contemporary, elegant, sophisticated and determined women, who seek to invest in quality pieces, made with the finest fabrics and with an impeccable fit.
Our studio was designed to make our clients feel at home; daughters, mothers and grandmothers are always welcome to “embroider” pleasant moments in their memories, whether it’s having a coffee with us or appreciating fashion.
Thus, by creating links, strengthening ties, valuing encounters, JOANNE wants to be a source of inspiration and be part of each client's story, transforming the simplest moments into special events.
